Nancy Wallace, Professor of Business

Nancy Wallace is Professor and Chair of the Real Estate Group, and Co-Chair of the Fisher Center for Real Estate and Urban Economics, at the Haas School of Business, University of California, Berkeley. She teaches introductory statistics, real estate investment analysis, and real estate finance at Haas. Her primary research focuses on housing price indices, models to monitor residential real estate price movements over the business cycle, efficiency and agency issues in the savings and loan industry, and mortgage pricing and contract structure. She serves as a visiting scholar at the San Francisco Federal Reserve Bank where she is working on mortgage prepayment models. She is a member of numerous scholarly and professional societies and is on the editorial board of the Journal of Computational Finance.
